Hi! . My father has two prostetic legs, he is in a wheelchair but can also walk (just not long periods of time) are there any rides he would be restricted from because of this? thank you!

    Hi Brittany!

Thank you for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so happy to hear that you and your family are contemplating a visit to the Walt Disney World Resorts! You will find that Disney is very accommodating to all guests!  If your father uses a wheelchair, he can go to Guest Services located near the entrance of the theme parks to request a Guest Assistance Card, which can be used to let the Cast Members know that you will need assistance at the attractions. Here is a link with more information to assist you when visiting the Walt Disney World Resorts: Walt Disney World Services for Guests with Disabilities. Here you will find a list of the attractions broken into three groups: Attractions where Guests in a wheelchair or electric convenience vehicle (ECV) may enter and enjoy, attractions where Guests in motorized vehicles or electric convenience vehicles (ECVs) must transfer into an available wheelchair and attractions where Guests must transfer from their wheelchair to board.

    Hope this helps!

If I can assist you with any more planning questions, please feel free to send them my way!

    Happy Planning!
