Hi there, Catalina, and welcome to
planDisney! I'm so glad you're here with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You'll be arriving in just a few short days, and you must be so excited!
When it comes to a vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth, you want to ensure that you're well-rested so you can enjoy all of the exciting experiences that are available to you! This includes getting a good night's sleep. Start off by making a wish to the evening star, just like Princess Tiana. Then, say, "Hey Disney, tell me a bedtime story," to the voice assistant device in your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel room. Then, get cozy in your comfortable hotel bed and drift off to sleep.
The mattress in your hotel will be a Sealy Sayer Prolux LTD - one of the most complimented features of the Disney hotels. While a different mattress is likely not available at your resort, Hakuna Matata - there are a few options you can try! You might be able to request a bed board, which can be placed under the mattress for additional firmness and support. You might also want to test out the mattress on any additional beds, like a sofa bed, to see if that's preferable. You can always request additional pillows and blankets if that's helpful, as well.
You're going to love
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter! You'll be transported to the land of beignets and brass bands. The Mardi Gras-themed pool is so much fun, and you have to try Scat Cat's Club - Cafe for awesome snacks!
Catalina, I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Please stop back by planDisney with any additional questions you have as you prepare for arrival!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
