My father will rent a scooter for park days. He's able to walk with a cane, but doesn't want to slow us down. There will be some rides he'll want to do without his scooter. Is there scooter parking near the entrance of rides?

Hi Paige! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It sounds like you have a fun family vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort in your future. How exciting! My family of four visited "The Most Magical Place on Earth" with my parents a couple of years ago and it was a lot of fun! We took it easy and kept the pace slower while we made many special memories. I know you will have a wonderful time!

I think your father will be really pleased that he rented a scooter! There will be miles of theme park exploration and this will really help. You will find parking for scooters located near the entrance of most attractions. Some spots, like Haunted Mansion, even have designated scooter parking with a Cast Member standing nearby to make sure no strollers get parked in the same area. It is really nice!

If he hasn't rented his scooter yet, you can check out the Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) rental page on the Walt Disney World website. It includes the rental information for renting at the theme parks, as well as Disney Featured Providers and their phone numbers.

Enjoy your vacation, Paige! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
