Hi there, Karen, and welcome to planDisney.
I’m sorry for the loss of your dear father. It sounds like he loved Disney magic and that this upcoming vacation was going to be one epic adventure. But how beautiful is it that he made his own magic throughout so many happy moments. I lost my father last year, and let me tell you, the pixie dust never stops flowing. Every time I ride
Space Mountain, I laugh at the thought of him getting off it warning everyone about his intense ride throughout the universe.
Fortunately, as long as a theme park ticket is unused, it can be reassigned to another person who is on a
Family & Friends List. You can do this through your MyDisney account or in the
My Disney Experience App. In the app, go to your “My Tickets & Passes” via the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner. Find the multi-day theme park ticket that belongs to your father and select “Reassign Ticket” (there’s a blue person icon above the wording). Select another person who is already linked to your account.
AN EXTRA GEM: In order to add a person to your Family & Friends List, open the My Disney Experience App and click on the three horizontal lines. From there, scroll all the way down to “Profile.” At the top, select the tab that reads “Family & Friends List” and scroll down to “Add a Guest.”
Karen, please

LeAndra
