Hello. My father lives in Florida and would like for us to take advantage of his Florida resident discount. He has no desire to come to the park or stay on property. Are we still able to get the resident discount?

    Hello Patricia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am very happy to answer your first question.

Nothing in this world would make my Floridian friends happier than being able to generously extend their Florida resident benefits to friends and family from other states and, in my case, countries. However, for Florida resident tickets, all adults need to show proof of Florida residency at park entrance upon arrival. This means you will not be able to take advantage of discounts that are currently available for your father. Please, check out Florida Resident Tickets and Passes and Theme Park Tickets for more information.

I recommend checking out Special Offers that are regularly announced, as you might come across a very good deal while planning your next Walt Disney World resort vacation.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Patricia. Please come back real soon to visit us again!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
