My father in law is turning 60. Is there any good ideas you can give us in celebrating his birthday? Thank you

Hi Lisa!  This is a major event!  Good for you to want to celebrate your dad in law's birthday in such a big way!  For me, just spending the day at one of the Parks is a celebration, but I know you want more.  With that said there are several ways to make his birthday extra special.  The first thing to do is a small one.  Make sure that you get a complimentary birthday pin when you arrive at the Park.  Make him wear it!  He'll get a kick out of all the good wishes from the Castmembers.  My family and I make a game out of it, with everyone guessing a different number.  It gets pretty high.   You can have an "In Room Celebration" by going to or by calling Disney Floral and Gifts Dream Makers at (407)827-3505.  You can have his room decorated and have gifts personalized. Another idea is to order a customized cake for his birthday dinner by calling Disney's cake line at (407) 827-2253.  You can see some of their ideas at   If you need ideas for that special dinner you can call (407)WDW-DINE.  Personally, I love The Spirit of Aloha at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  All celebrations are acknowledged during the dinner show and it's a lot of fun!  I promise that he'll never forget the fire knife dancers.  I hope this information helps you give him a memorable birthday.  Please tell him that I'm sending him wonderful wishes and tons of pixie dust!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
