My father in law is a FL resident. He is spending some days at the parks with my kids and got them tickets. He plans on going in alone with out them the day before they arrive. Will his tickets and the kids ticket all be activated when he goes w/o them?

    Hi Julie!

The Walt Disney World Florida resident perks are fantastic and even better when they can be shared with family.  I'm sure you already know this, but any Florida resident over the age of 18 must show valid proof of Florida residency to pick up and use the special discounted tickets.  As long as your children are 17 and under, you're good to go.

Each of the tickets are considered their own, so your father-in-law visiting prior to bringing your children will not have an affect on when their tickets are activated.  If the tickets purchased are the Florida resident Discover Disney tickets, they do not expire until June 27, 2019 and it doesn't matter when they are initially activated.

Please stop back by if you or your father-in-law have any additional vacation planning questions or if you would like any recommendations for how to make their trip special.

    Have a magical day!
