Hi there, Anna! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
One of the things that my family loves most about
Walt Disney World Resort is that they truly
make the magic accessible to everyone. When we visit the Walt Disney World theme parks, we use
Disability Access Service (DAS) for my son who has special needs. I absolutely love that we now have the ability to
pre-register for DAS. It allows us to get straight to the fun without having to stop at
Guest Relations when we arrive at the parks.
Anna, I'm glad to hear that your father-in-law was able to pre-register for DAS. In addition to pre-registering for DAS, Guests utilizing this accommodation may also make experience selections with the
DAS Advance planning option. Guests will be able to work with a Cast Member to select up to two experiences per day of their visit, subject to availability. These experiences are in addition to the DAS selections that can be made during your park visit. DAS Advance planning cannot be booked online or through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. To make your selections, go to the DAS Advance planning link in this answer, scroll down to find the "Request Live Chat" button, and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you. Please keep in mind that your live chat to book these experiences must take place between 2 and 30 days prior to your park visit.
Wishing you and your family the most magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Samantha
