Hi Carlos! Welcome to planDisney.
As one of the military mamas on the panel, I’d like to extend a big thank you to your father-in-law and his family for their service to our country. I’m eagerly awaiting my husband’s return from a deployment, and when he gets home, one of our first stops is the Walt Disney World Resort! There is nothing like together time in The Most Magical Place on Earth.
My family purchases the
Military Promotional Theme Parks Tickets every year – they’re a fantastic deal. The military member or spouse with valid military ID needs to be present to activate and use these tickets, so if your father-in-law purchases them, he would need to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with you. (Please take a look at the
Offer Details to see the specifics of purchase and use.) Usually, when you purchase these tickets, they come in the form of an exchange certificate, which you must activate at Guest Relations upon arrival. A valid military ID is required for activation. Sounds like a great reason to bring him along, if you ask me!
Carlos, if your father-in-law isn’t able to join you on vacation, I recommend looking at the current
Special Offers to see if there are any that apply to your visit dates and plans. I have found great deals that are even better than the military discounts from time to time.
Thanks for stopping by with this question today. If you think of any more questions as you plan and dream about a visit to The Walt Disney World Resort, please come back and see us!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
