Hi, there!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Doreen. We're so glad to see you again!
How wonderful that your father-in-law is treating your family to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You're sure to have a
Grand Adventure together! I have a few tips for you. Prior to your arrival, review the list of attractions at the theme parks and water parks. Several of the
thrill attractions post health advisories that may pertain to your father-in-law. You may want to consider excluding these from your touring plans. You'll be happy to know, though, that there are over 100
family-friendly attractions your whole group can enjoy together! Be sure to schedule some downtime. The afternoon is the perfect time for your family to leave the theme parks and head back to your Resort hotel for a swim and maybe even a nap. After everyone has had a chance to rest, head back to the theme parks for the evening! Also be sure that everyone, especially your father-in-law, stays well hydrated. We like to pack a soft-sided cooler filled with water bottles to take into the theme parks with us. Finally, I suggest your father-in-law consult his doctor before your vacation.
Radio Frequency technology is used at the Walt Disney World Resort and it's recommended that Guests with specific medical devices seek the guidance of their physician prior to visiting. For additional information, call Disability Services at (407) 560-2547.
I hope this was helpful, Doreen. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
