Hey there, hi there, ho there, Bridgette! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
What a practically perfect family vacation you have planned! It sounds like you and your father have some special memories of visiting the Walt Disney World Resort that you'd like to share with your family. Growing up in Florida, some of my most precious memories with my mom are of the time we spent at Walt Disney World. I just know you'll have a magical time.
Unfortunately, since you're not currently living in Florida, you won't be able to use Florida Resident Tickets since all adults planning to use them have to show
proof of Florida residency at Guest Relations before the tickets can be activated. There is a silver lining, though! If you have children under 18, your father can use his Florida resident status to buy tickets for the grandkids. And of course, any child under the age of three doesn't need a ticket to enter the Parks.
There may be some other discounts you can take advantage of, Bridgette. Take a look at the
Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website for a list of special rates on things like Resort hotel stays,
Memory Maker purchases,
Disney Visa Cardmember specials, and more.
I hope you have a truly magical Walt Disney World visit with your father, Bridgette. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
