Hi Brandon!
How nice of Grandpa to gift your kiddos Walt Disney World tickets! Being a
Florida resident sure has its perks, and discounted tickets is just one of them. Your father must provide
proof of residency in order to pick up the tickets and that can be done either in person at any ticket window or by Digital Residency Verification online with the proper government issued ID.
You can link any kind of tickets to your account. All you will need are the Ticket ID Numbers for each child. Tickets can be linked through
My Disney Experience on a computer or on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. You will see a "Park Tickets" bubble towards the top of your account page online. Hover your mouse over the bubble and then select "
Link Tickets". The next page will show you how to link tickets to the children in your account.
Since you are visiting with little ones, check out the
Planning for Preschool & Little Ones page for Walt Disney World! This page has super helpful information on how to plan and navigate the theme parks with young kids including suggested attractions, shows and dining options. I know your trip is only a couple of weeks away, but I highly suggest
character dining. It's a great way for your kids to meet some of their favorite characters while also having a great meal. Our favorite movie is Lilo & Stitch, so we love the Best Friends Breakfast over at
'Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort since we can meet our Hawaiian friends. Plus, there's no where else you can get Stitch waffles!
I hope you have a fantastic vacation and know that planDisney is here to help if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
