    hello, my father has a bad back and can't walk for a long amount of time. Is it possible to rent a motorized scooter or no and if you can how much? thank you!

    Hi Cassandra!

         Tell your father not to worry!  Electronic Convenience Vehicles (ECVs for short) are available to rent at Walt Disney World.  At this time, the cost is $45 per day, plus tax.  In addition, Disney requires a deposit of $100 on a credit card, to be refunded at the end of the day.  These ECVs are very popular and are rented on a first come first served basis.  They cannot be taken outside of the park, but retain your receipt if you plan to visit another park on the same day in order to get another ECV if it is available.  Sorry if I make it all sound confusing - it really isn't!

         My  mom rented one several years ago and it she LOVED it!  Check here for more info on how to rent one once you arrive at Walt Disney World.  Have a great time!
