Mickey and Minnie Halloween Costume; Magic Kingdom; Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

    My father and I are attending Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween in October. We want to book a professional photographer session during that time and purchase the photos afterwards. How would we go about this and what are the options for purchase?

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a SPOOK-tacular question!  I’m sure you and your father will have a bibbidi-bobbidi-BOOtiful time at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!  If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, you may want to take a look at the Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog which highlights some yummy TREATS to go along with any TRICKS from the happy haunts at the party!

    Katrina, some of my most cherished keepsakes from our Disney vacations are photos.  I love looking back and remembering every magical moment!  Disney PhotoPass offers Capture Your Moment photo sessions in each theme park.  Reservations for these 20-minute sessions can be made ahead of your arrival.  The cost of the sessions does not include photo downloads but, if you have purchased Memory Maker, they will be included in that purchase.  No Memory Maker?  Hakuna Matata!  You can view your photos after your session and purchase individual downloads or products of your choice from Disney PhotoPass.

    I spoke with a Cast Member and, unfortunately, confirmed that Capture Your Moment photo sessions are not available during special-ticketed events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  While you are unable to book one of these private sessions during party hours, you will find plenty of Disney PhotoPass photographers around the park who will be happy to capture the ghoulishly good time you’re sure to enjoy with your father!  If you're visiting the parks for additional days, you can check for available reservations at any of the many locations.  Reservations for photo sessions can be made online where you can see all available times for selected dates and locations.
