Can you make fastpasses the same day as Mickey's very merry Christmas party when you do not have a standard ticket.

Hello Diane, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I absolutely love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season. The decorations are amazing. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the place where you can soak it all in and truly get into the holiday spirit.

I am happy to tell you that guests who only hold a ticket to attend the party can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. before your party starts. This would allow you to make a few FastPass+ selections on the day you will be attending the party. You can make your selections for as early as 4:00 p.m. this will allow you to experience some of your favorite rides and attractions before the holiday fun begins. Keep in mind that the Magic Kingdom will be closed to regular guests at 6:00 p.m. and there will be no FastPass+ availability once the park closes.

Planning Tip: To get the best viewing of the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, I would advise you to continue to enjoy rides and attractions during the first parade and watch the second less crowded parade. Most guests will leave after the Holiday Wishes fireworks freeing up the prime parade viewing spots.

    Happy Holidays,
