How do I get a fastpass for starwars

Bright suns, Malissa! Allow me to be your Jedi Master as I train you in developing your use of the Force for your upcoming visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

The Walt Disney World Resort has temporarily suspended use of the FastPass+ service in all four Disney Parks. The additional space is being used to promote physical distancing in the parks. There are two ride attractions in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! They are amazing experiences for the casual visitor and nothing less than an emotional ride through a galaxy far, far away for passionate fans of Star Wars!

The first attraction to open in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge was Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run! To me, this attraction serves as the visual accomplishment/centerpiece of this land! I was in disbelief when I rounded the corner to face the Millennium Falcon docked in all her glory! This attraction gives you the opportunity to get into the cockpit of the ship that carried the likes of Han Solo, Chewbacca, Rey, Finn, and so many other iconic Star Wars characters! Once in the cockpit you will be take off on an adventure into the galaxy of Star Wars! In order to experience this attraction, you will need to wait in the traditional standby line. As you do so, take time to check out the amazing detail that the Disney Imagineers put into recreating the Millennium Falcon. Truly an amazing accomplishment the likes of which only Disney can bring to life!

The next attraction feels more like an 18-minute mini Star Wars movie starring you! This is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! To experience this adventure, you will need to secure a Boarding Group assignment to get into a "virtual queue." To do this, you will need the My Disney Experience App downloaded to your mobile device. Once the app is downloaded, Guests have two opportunities during the day to get a Boarding Group assignment - 7:00AM or 1:00PM.

At 7:00AM, Guests do not have to be inside Disney's Hollywood Studios to secure a Boarding Group assignment using their mobile app. For example, you might be at your Disney Resort hotel or in transit to Disney's Hollywood Studios from another hotel in Orlando. However, at the 1:00PM distribution of Boarding Group assignments, a Guest must be present inside of Disney's Hollywood Studios to be eligible.

Using the app at either time (7:00AM or 1:00PM), scroll down to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance - Request Access with Virtual Queue. Click "Join" and follow the prompts on the screen. This is a very popular attraction! I recommend being on the app immediately at 7:00AM or 1:00PM. Boarding Group assignments go very quickly! Be sure to have your entire party added to your Family and Friends list, within the app, so that everyone can join the Boarding Group together!

May the Force be with you during your visit! I hope this information is helpful as you plan your visit!
