I have a FastPass+ reservation at Be Our Guest for our January trip to Magic Kingdom, as does my mom for the same arrival window. Will we be able to sit together? We each have a party of 4 on our resort reservation. I didn't see a way to link these plans

    Hi Shayna,

You are in for a treat at Be Our Guest. I love the food, and the decor is spectacular!

I'm not sure how to tell you to link your dining reservations. My Disney Experience is still in development, and I haven't yet tried to link dining reservations with friends and family.

No worries, though. Even if you had one reservation for eight people, there would be a chance that you would be seated at separate, nearby tables. Here's what I suggest: Make sure your party and your mom's arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to your seating time. Check in together and let the staff know that you would like to be seated together if possible.

I've found over the years that the restaurant cast members try to be as accommodating as possible, even when you are asking for last-minute modifications. They should be able to let you know if it is possible and if you will need to wait a bit longer to make it happen.

The good news is that you arrive on January 6, and the holiday crowds should have begun to dissipate by then. That likely will give you a better chance of getting a large table in a timely manner.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can do anything to assist further as you make your last minute plans. (By the way, make sure you save room for dessert. I highly recommend the triple chocolate cupcake.)

Enjoy your time at Walt Disney World with your family!
