If I have a FastPass reservation and decide not to ride, can my daughter use my pass if I give her my wristband at the FP entrance line?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Deborah! Thank you for stopping by with this great question!

If you decide not to ride an attraction you and your daughter are both in line for, that is absolutely fine. You can drop that particular FastPass+ selection or switch it to something else on the My Disney Experience app, at any time even as you wait in line for it. If you change your mind as you are waiting in line, you can let the closest Cast Member know and they will guide you to an exit so that you and your daughter can reunite after she gets off, usually at the gift shop.

I would not advise you to let your daughter use your MagicBand as this works as your official ID. Your MagicBand is unique to you and only you are authorized to access the benefits associated with it—including FastPass+ experiences. Please keep in mind that not observing these rules may result in a disruption or delay at the attraction.

If your daughter would like to ride an attraction again, she might be able to do so with very little wait time by using the single rider line, which is available at certain attractions.
I hope this answer helps, Deborah. If you have any more questions about your upcoming visit, please come see us again.

I wish you a marvelous trip!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
