Is FastPass+ Reservation connected to a specific person? I know it’s connected to a specific ticket but what if the FastPass is on your ticket but you decide not to use it and someone else in your group wants it instead. Can they just use your ticket?

Hi, Jillian! I can certainly understand that there may be times that someone in your group does not want to experience an attraction. MagicBands and theme park tickets are not transferable to other guests, so you really cannot just pass them to someone else to let them use the FastPass+ connected to them. However, there is an easy way to swap the FastPass+ to someone that is linked to you in My Disney Experience, with certain restrictions to note.

Jillian, you will see all of your FastPass+ selections listed in the My Disney Experience app. If someone does not want to use one of them, you may be able to open that FastPass+ and utilize the Change Party option to swap it to someone else in your Family & Friends List. To do this, click that option, then remove the check next to the guest who currently has the FastPass+ and then choose the guest who would like the use it. The system will guide you through the remaining steps to Confirm the change.

As I mentioned, there are restrictions to note. Guests can only have three initial FastPass+ selected for each day, and once those are used, more can be added one at a time. So if the person already has three set up to be used that day, they will need to cancel one to take the new one. Also, the first three FastPass+ experiences for each guest cannot be repeated. So, if you are trying to swap a Peter Pan FastPass+ from Jack to Sally, then Sally cannot already have a FastPass+ for Peter Pan waiting to be used. If she has already used her initial three FastPass+, then she can take it. Note also that FastPass+ selections cannot overlap. If Sally has one set up for 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., then the system will not allow a FastPass+ to be added for her that will conflict with that time period.

Jillian, I hope I explained the restrictions well enough. Please come back and let me know if you need more information on this.
