    When will the fastpass be replaced by Genie service?

    Hello Sei Yon! That is a great planning question! 

    Right now, we know that Disney Genie, Genie+, and Lightning Lanes are expected to launch in conjunction with the World’s Most Magical Celebration! That special event is kicking off in just a few days on October 1, 2021. We also know that Disney Genie, Genie+, and Lightning Lanes are advertised as beginning “this fall.” So, my guess is that we’ll see these new park features launch very soon on the My Disney Experience app. As far as the exact date, that may only be known to Genie himself!

    Sei Yon, keep a close eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website, the Disney Parks Blog, and some of the popular Walt Disney World Resort fan websites. These tend to be the best places to hear big announcements! When the Genie comes out of the lamp, I’m sure we’ll all hear about it!
