Is a fastpass really necessary for Beauty and the Beast Live on Stagel in HS?

    Hi Teresa!

One of the things I love most about Disney's Hollywood Studios is the opportunity to experience movies in a whole new way. Whether you journey into other galaxies on Star Tours or into Andy's backyard at Toy Story Land, which opens this summer, Disney's Hollywood Studios will give you a new perspective on your favorite Disney movies!

My family loves Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage and we try to see it on every visit to enjoy the classic songs and the beautiful costumes. Disney's Hollywood Studios uses a tiered FastPass+ system, allowing Guests to pick one attraction from the first tier and two attractions from the remaining FastPass+ attractions. Since Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage is in the first tier, you will only be able to select one of the following attractions for your reservation: Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage, Fantasmic!, Toy Story Mania! or Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Since both Toy Story Mania! and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith can have very long wait times, we always select one of those attractions instead of Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage for our top tier FastPass+ reservation.

In my experience, I have always been able to get good seats for it as long as I arrive early. I recommend that you arrive 10-20 minutes before the show to get a good seat and plan to enjoy a snack and a cool drink while waiting for the show. Also, after you use your first three FastPass+ reservations, you can add additional reservations, one at a time, as availability allows, which is a great way to snag a reservation for this awesome show!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
