We have a Fastpass+ for 2:30 PM for Navi River at Animal Kingdom. We also have a dining reservation for Yak & Yeti for 3:00 PM. Is there enough time to do both and does Disney have a small window you can be late for a dining reservation? Thank you Rob

    Hi Richard!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

It sounds like you'll be having an awesome day in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park sometime soon! With the addition of Pandora - The World of Avatar, Animal Kingdom is fast becoming my favorite of Walt Disney World Resort's four theme parks. I'm happy to hear you're planning to check it out!

With a 2:30pm FastPass+ at Na'vi River Journey and a 3:00pm reservation at Yak and Yeti Restaurant, you'll be cutting it close, but it's completely doable. My advice would be to show up about ten minutes prior to your FastPass+ reservation, and check in a bit early (guests will typically be allowed an eight-minute grace period before a FastPass+ begins). The ride itself only lasts around 4 and a half minutes once you board your raft. Sit back, relax, and let the ride take you away to Pandora, and all the beauty of the bioluminescent forest.

Once you exit the ride, head straight to Yak and Yeti Restaurant to enjoy your meal (make sure to have a park map handy to check for the shortest route). As long as you check in within 8-10 minutes of your dining reservation, you should be OK. Yak and Yeti is one of my favorite dining venues in Animal Kingdom. If you're a fan of Ahi Tuna, I recommend the Ahi Tuna Nachos. They're to die for - so delicious!

I hope this helps with your planning, and you make it to both your attraction and your meal with time to spare. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
