Beth from AR Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

What FastPass+ booking date do you use when booking for multiple parties where some are staying at a Disney resort and the others aren't (they live locally) 60 days or 30? Accounts are already linked together through MyDisneyExperience.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Beth!

The FastPass+ system at Walt Disney World Resort is an excellent way to allow your Party to experience up to three attractions per day with little-to-no wait time. The ability to book those FastPass+ experiences up to 60 days in advance is a benefit exclusively reserved for Guests staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel, though. Everyone else (including Annual Passholders not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel) will be able to choose their experiences up to 30 days in advance of their visit.

Unfortunately, this means that if you have two Parties visiting at the same time but one is staying on-property and the other is not, then you might not be able to align all of your FastPass+ experiences (even if you’re connected through your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience). The Guests listed on the Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation linked to your My Disney Experience account will be the only ones able to select their FastPass+ reservations more than 30 days in advance.

Since anyone can book their dining reservations up to 180 days in advance, I would recommend trying to at least plan a few meals you can share together as a big group. And, of course, you can all enjoy any attraction together if you enter through the standby queue.

I do hope you’re able to share some of the same FastPass+ experiences, Beth! As you get closer to making your selections, please don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.
