    What is the fastest way to MK from the Wilderness Lodge & Villas, water taxi or bus?

    Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Amy!

    The complimentary Disney bus to the Magic Kingdom is definitely faster than the boat.  I've timed both.  The bus ride takes approximately four minutes while the boat ride is closer to fifteen minutes.  Personally, I prefer the boat ride but if you're in a hurry, the bus is the way to go.  My suggestion would be to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom in the morning and the boat back to the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge at the end of your day.  That soothing ride across the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake is the perfect way to end a magical day.

    PS.  Another thing to keep in mind is that the bus stop is extremely close to the Villas while the boat dock is a significant walk away from where you'll be staying.  So, again, the bus ride is quicker.
