What is the fastest way to magic kingdom from Epcot for early access?

Hey there, Jennifer! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney - we're always here to help. I see that you are arriving at Walt Disney World Resort TODAY, so time is of the essence! Let's get right to it so that you have the information you need.

I love to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry when staying on-property. That extra 30 minutes in the morning is a great way to get a jump on your park days and visit a few favorite attractions before the official park opening. It looks like you are hoping to get from the EPCOT area to Magic Kingdom Park to enjoy the early entry, and there are a few different ways to make the trip.

Walt Disney World buses start running 45-60 minutes before park opening (including early hours), and this is generally the simplest way to get to the Magic Kingdom. The Disney buses drop Guests right in front of the park, while folks who drive or use rideshare must go through the Transportation and Ticket Center and then have to transfer to a monorail or boat. Keep in mind that lots of Guests may be planning to get to the park early, so leave yourself plenty of time, as the buses can fill up!

Speaking of the monorails, they will begin running 30-60 minutes before park opening. If you are staying at one of the EPCOT resorts, it isn't super convenient to reach the front of the park where the monorail departs, so I would still recommend the bus as your most direct option.

Jennifer, I hope you are having the best day ever and kicking off your vacation in grand style! If you have other questions that our planDisney crew can help with during your trip, please reach out again anytime.

    See Ya Real Soon!
