    What is the fastest and most efficient way to travel from Epcot to Magic Kingdom? Animal Kingdom to MK? We will have a car so should we drive and park again?

    Hi Jennifer,

    With all the transportation methods available at Walt Disney World, deciding which route and mode of transportation can sometimes be a little confusing or overwhelming. There is a great tool at www.ourlaughingplace.com that I use quite frequently to decide which route would be the fastest. When you visit this site, in the upper right hand corner you will see "transportation wizard". Simply click on this link and fill in your starting and ending destinations and click "find route" and it will often give you several routes and options based on different modes of transportation. Also listed will be the estimated travel time. Keep in mind that the time given is travel time only and does not include wait times for the transportation. They are also estimations and can vary.

    My original thoughts for answering your question were confirmed and here is the breakdown. From Epcot to Magic Kingdom it is much faster to drive rather than take the monorail with a transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center. The parking for Magic Kingdom is at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), whereas the parking at the other theme parks are closer to the main entrance. From the Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom and vice versa, it is definitely easier to drive yourself, but the travel time is a little more of a wash between transportation or driving your car.
