what is the fastest way to get from the Art of Animation resort to the Polynesian resort

    Hi Jo-Ann!

I really love Walt Disney World Transportation System questions!  I am going to give you two options for getting to the Polynesian Resort from the Art of Animation Resort using the Walt Disney World Transportation System.  Both of these options will take 45 to 60 minutes of travel time because you have to transfer to another bus or Monorail.  The first is to take a bus from the Art of Animation Resort to Magic Kingdom (a 15 to 20 minute ride once you are on the bus) and then the Resort Monorail or a boat from the Magic Kingdom to the Polynesian Resort (approximately 15 to 20 minutes once you are on the Monorail or boat).  The second is to take a bus from the Art of Animation Resort to Hollywood Studios (about a 5 to 10 minute ride once you are on the bus) and then transfer to a bus that is going to the Polynesian Resort from Hollywood Studios (about a 15 to 20 minute ride once you are on the bus).  Keep in mind that you may have to wait at each stop for up to 20 minutes for transportation to come so that is why I included extra time in the calculations.  The absolute quickest way from the Art of Animation Resort to the Polynesian Resort would be to take a taxi directly (15 minutes once you are in the taxi).  A taxi will cost you money which is typically less than $20.00 including tip for a one way taxi fare anyway on Walt Disney World property.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
