Is it any faster to use your private vehicle instead of park transportation when traveling from resort to parks ?

Hello, Denise!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

I highly recommend using the Disney Transportation System (buses) to get from your resort to any of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks.  There are extra transfers involved when using your own car.  For example, parking your car and then having to hop on a shuttle that will get you to the front entrance of a park.  By hopping on one of our buses, you are transported straight to the front of the park.  Buses run approximately every 20 minutes.  Now if you are staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or the Polynesian Resort, I highly recommend using the monorail if you are heading to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot. Hey, you are the one on vacation, so why not sit back and let Disney do all the driving.
