Is there a faster entry line if I don’t have a bag?

Hey there, hi there, Siu! Thanks so much for dropping by planDisney to ask your question!

You've asked us a great question regarding the security checkpoints. The answer is possibly! It really all depends on the time of day and which security area you are going through. If you are staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or Paradise Pier Hotel and using their exclusive entries into Disney California Adventure Park, there most likely is not a separate line for that since these are smaller checkpoints. I have not seen a dedicated no-bags line at Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals Parking Structures lately. I have seen a no-bags line at the Harbor Boulevard entry point, as well as the Downtown Disney District entry point across from Disneyland Hotel. However, these lines may come and go depending on the times of the day. You will most likely see the line available near the park opening times when there is a bigger rush of people.

If you decide to head to the parks without a bag and find a souvenir or two that you have to have there are lockers available to rent both outside each park entrance as well as inside each park. The rental prices vary depending on the size. I've found this to be a great option if you want to make purchases or you want to bring a jacket for morning or nighttime temperates without having to carry them around all day.

Siu, I hope this helps you decide if you want to travel light to Disneyland Resort. Please come back and visit us again if you have any other questions!
