Would it be faster to drive from Caribbean Beach to the Polynesian for the SOA show rather than bus/monorail?

    Hi Anne!

Generally speaking, it is faster to drive your own car to get anywhere on Walt Disney World property.  The only exception is driving to the Magic Kingdom itself, because you just can't park in front of the turnstiles to the park; instead you park and then have to take a monorail or ferry boat to get to the actual theme park.

You won't have any problems unless you are going during a busy holiday such as Christmas, New Years, Eve, or the 4th of July.  On those nights, it might be hard to park at the Polynesian because Walt Disney World is super crowded.

Just drive to the Polynesian and when you get to the Polynesian's parking lot, tell the Disney Cast Member that you are there for the show!  It's useful to bring your confirmation number with you just in case, but it shouldn't be necessary.

Have a great time at the show, and write back if you have any more questions!
