If fast passes are unavailable currently fir rides we want, are we still able to get them in the park at a kiosk?

    Hi Rachel!

I'm so excited to see you will be at Walt Disney World Resort in a few short days!

You can visit a FastPass+ Kiosk to check on available FastPass+ times. The kiosk, itself, won't give you access to a greater number of FastPass+ selections. However, sometimes Guests' plans change and you never know when some magical pixie-dust might make it your way.

I have a few other suggestions for you that might help you enjoy your must do attractions.

We were at Walt Disney World Resort the week of 4th of July. It's a very popular time of year and crowds were fairly high. Initially, we were not able to secure a FastPass+ for Test Track. One afternoon, we had completed our initial three FastPass+ selections and were waiting to enjoy a yummy meal at Teppan Edo. As we waited, we were chatting about what we wanted to do after our lunch. I grabbed my phone and signed in to My Disney Experience Mobile App. I started searching for FastPass+ availability for times after our lunch. To my surprise, I was able to grab Test Track! The My Disney Experience Mobile App is a must have for all of our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. If you have not already downloaded it, I highly recommend you do so before your vacation begins. It's the perfect way to plan, share and modify your activities with everyone in your traveling party during vacation.

Later on in our vacation, I tried to secure a FastPass+ for Avatar Flight of Passage. I was unsuccessful but we still managed to fly on the back of a mountain banshee by arriving at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park at park opening and proceeding directly to Avatar Flight of Passage.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can also take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. Extra Magic Hours are the perfect time to enjoy the more popular attractions! Guests of select hotels have the opportunity to spend extra time in one of the theme parks, either before park opening or after it closes. My family and I love Extra Magic Hours!

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you need any other information as you finalize your plans for your upcoming vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. Have a magical time!!
