Can you do fast passes during extra magic hours

Hello there, Deborah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Extra Magic Hours are among my favorite tips and tricks for Guests to maximize their time in the parks! Extra Magic Hours are additional times either before or after normal operating hours that Guests can enjoy select attractions inside the theme parks. These extra times are available to Guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels and are offered in at least one of the four theme parks daily. You can see which theme parks are offering Extra Magic Hours by either consulting with the printed Times Guide or by checking out the Park Hours web page.

Another one of my favorite offerings, FastPass+, also allows Guests to make the most of their time when visiting Walt Disney World Resort! FastPass+ allows Guests to reserve expedited entry into select attractions, entertainment offerings, and more prior to their visit! This can be the best, and quickest, way to experience some of the most popular attractions such as Slinky Dog Dash at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

FastPass+ reservations are only offered during standard operating hours so you cannot make reservations during Extra Magic Hours. However, attraction wait times do tend to be lower during Extra Magic Hours so FastPass+ reservations are not quite as helpful during these times! One of my tricks during my own trips, though, is to make FastPass+ reservations directly after Extra Magic Hours end. This way, I can head directly to my reserved FastPass+ attraction and experience the most attractions possible!

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming vacation!
