But at the start of 2022 Disney rolled out an all-new set of programs designed to match the different needs of different guests. These programs are essentially the replacement for the FastPass program. You now have the combined programs of Disney Genie, Genie+, and Individual Lightning Lanes. Only the second two parts of this trio of associated programs are involved in making ride reservations, but I will describe all three, just so you know how they all work together.
BONUS TIP #1If you visit the web page for Genie+, you can see what attractions are in the Genie+ Lightning Lane and Individual Lightning Lane programs, so you can plan out your days.BONUS TIP #2Make sure you have the My Disney Experience App on your smart phone before you arrive. The Disney Genie service is great at giving you ideas on what to do next, and I love ordering lunch without waiting in line with the Mobile Online Ordering service.
