How does fast pass work? This is our first trip to WDW and I want to make the most of the time we have

Hello Michelle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited that you will soon be experiencing your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Using the My Disney Experience Account online or using the mobile App, Guests can reserve times to gain access to FastPass+ queues at select attractions that allow them to bypasses the regular Standby queues. You can initially book 3 FastPass+ selections per day of admission up to 30 days in advance of your planned visit.

As a benefit to Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, Guests can reserve FastPass+ selections up to 60 days in advance for up to 10 days beginning on their Check-In day.

Many Guests use FastPass+ selections for rides that commonly have lengthy wait times such as Peter Pan's Flight in Magic Kingdom or Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park.

Before your booking window opens, take a look at the attractions offered at Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks and make a list of those attractions that you absolutely "must do". Check the wait times on My Disney Experience periodically to get a sense of the value of using a FastPass+ for those attractions and make selections based on a combination of value and desire.

Once you use your initial 3 FastPass+ selections on any given day, you may book an additional FastPass+ using My Disney Experience on a mobile device or through FastPass+ kiosks in the Parks.

    Happy Planning!
