How does Fast Pass work? Does it apply to tickets bought from a non Disney agent??

Hi Brenda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are just TWO days away from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Hooray! There are a ton of exciting things happening during your visit like the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and the beginning of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. You will have a blast!

FastPass+ is a complimentary service for all Guests that visit the Walt Disney World theme parks and have valid theme park admission. Even if Guests don't purchase their tickets directly from Disney, they can still take advantage of this wonderful service!

If you link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account, you can make FastPass+ selections in advance (up to three initial selections per person, per day) or you can wait and do so when you arrive in the theme parks. You will use your tickets or MagicBands (if you have them) to scan at the FastPass+ queue entrances for the attractions that you have chosen. This allows you to skip the Standby queue for those attractions and will save you a lot of time! Once you use your initial three FastPass+ selections, you can choose more (one at a time, subject to availability) either through the My Disney Experience mobile app or at a FastPass+ kiosk in the theme parks.

I hope this helps, Brenda! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
