I have a fast pass spot for the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the town square viewing area. Is the spot right on the walkway or further back by the flag pole? Are you guaranteed a spot without a bunch of people in front of you? How is the spot reserved?

    Hi Bob,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

During one of my last visits to Walt Disney World Resort, I decided to try something new and included the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade among my FastPass+ selections on the day that I visited Magic Kingdom Park. On that day, the Viewing Area was in the center of Town Square, by the flag pole. There were Cast Members staffing the entrance and scanning Guests’ MagicBands before allowing them to enter the area. If you have trouble finding it, please ask any available Cast Member for assistance and they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

We arrived near the end of the FastPass+ window, so there were already a lot of people in the area. A few members of my party were able to find spots to sit along the edge of the sidewalk, several of us had to stand. While there were definitely people in front of us, it was far fewer than there would have been outside of this viewing area and we still had an excellent view of the parade.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
