We have a fast pass at 5:10pm at Magic Kingdom, and Hoop-Dee-Doo reservation at 6:15pm. Is that enough time to get to Fort Wilderness? We prefer taking the boat. How long is the ride? Does it stop near the show, or is there more walking to do? Thanks

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Anahit! We have a lot in common because I am always trying to squeeze as much as possible into my days at Walt Disney World Resort. I've definitely been known to start the morning with Extra Magic Hours and keep going all day until it's time for Happily Ever After at night, so I know what it's like to have some plans overlap and wonder if there's enough time to enjoy all the things I want to do.

I'll be honest, Anahit, I don't think that just over an hour is enough time to fit in an attraction and use the complimentary transportation to get to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. It's recommended that you leave yourself approximately 90 minutes to travel, and since you're attending a dinner show that begins at 6:15 p.m. sharp, it's probably a good idea to get there a little early so you can get to your seat and settle in before the show starts. The boat is definitely the best way to get from Magic Kingdom Park to Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue because you'll dock right by Pioneer Hall, but if I was planning on attending the 6:15 p.m. showtime myself, I would make sure to be at the Magic Kingdom Park boat launch no later than 5 p.m. Doing it the way you have it planned now may work, but it leaves very little room for anything unexpected, like a bit of a wait in line when you redeem your FastPass+, some congestion on Main Street U.S.A., or just missing the boat when you arrive at the dock.

There's no need to worry though because the plans you make using My Disney Experience are flexible! I suggest that you take a look at the FastPass+ you have planned for 5:10 p.m. and decide if it's something that can be moved to earlier in the day. If you bump it back just one hour to around 4 or 4:15 p.m., I think you'd be able to take your time enjoying that last attraction and still have time to make it to the boat dock and your dinner reservation without having to rush or worry about being late for the show. You'll be able to relax and enjoy that boat ride you've been looking forward to!

    Have a magical day, Anahit!
