There is a fast pass for parades & fireworks. Why? Don't you stand anywhere? Or do they have a place for fast pass people? Thank you.

    Hey Bonnie!

Yes, you can get a FastPass+ selection for the parades and the fireworks spectaculars. The location in the Magic Kingdom is the new Main Street Plaza Gardens adjacent to The Crystal Palace. In Epcot, the location to watch Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is between the Tower gift shops near the entrance to the World Showcase.

I, personally, would not use a FastPass+ selection to view these shows. There are several reasons for this:

    • We have never had a problem finding locations for watch the parades and fireworks shows. In the Magic Kingdom we like to grab a Dole Whip then find a spot to enjoy it along Main Street, U.S.A. while we wait for the Celebrate the Magic and Wishes to start. In Epcot, we will typically make a dinner reservation at Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room about an hour prior to Illumination then watch from their private viewing area.
    • By holding a FastPass+ selection so late in the day you are greatly reducing the likelihood of getting a 4th, 5th or 6th selections since the fireworks shows are typically held near closing time.
    • I prefer to make FastPass+ selections for headliner attractions such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain. The standby queue time I would save by having FastPass+ selections for these rides will far outweigh the 15-30 minutes I might spend arriving at my viewing location early.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about Disney's FastPass+ service or any other aspects of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
