Is there a fast pass for kids with autism?

Hi there, Esther! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and asking your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

As someone that has multiple chronic illnesses, I love provided more information for other Guests with disabilities that are visiting Walt Disney World Resort! Based on my own experiences, there are so many wonderful accommodations and services that assist in making visits magical for all Guests!

While there are no specific FastPass+ services for Guests with disabilities, I am happy to report that there may be some services that will provide some assistance for your family! The Disability Access Service is a program that allows Guests with disabilities to receive a return time for attractions based on current wait times. This service is available to Guests that cannot wait in a standard queue environment due to their disability including non-apparent disabilities. Disability Access Service passes can be issued at any Guest Relations main entrance location at all of the four theme parks. Here, you can speak with a Cast Member and discuss whether or not the Disability Access Service is the best option for your specific situation!

If you haven’t already done so you may also want to check out the “Tips and Strategies for Families of Individuals with Cognitive Disabilities Including Autism” Guide! It may have a wordy name but it does have a good bit of information that you may find helpful when planning your visit. My personal favorite tip included in this guide is to bring earplugs or headphones for your loved one! The theme parks can be very over-stimulating at times for those on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorders so being able to reduce auditory input can be a lifesaver at times!

I hope you have a practically perfect visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
