Hi Robert,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!
I can completely understand wanting to get a head start if this is the first time that you’re making
FastPass+ selections for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. The reason why you would get an error message when trying to “test” the FastPass+ system is because you can’t actually use it until your selection window opens 30 days before your visit.
The system is likely saying you don’t have any
Theme Park Tickets linked under the members of your party because you don’t actually have valid Theme Park admission for the day in question, if you have date-based tickets. If, however, you don’t have date-based Theme Park Tickets, you could always try playing around with selections for a date some time within the next 30 days… but, if you do inadvertently confirm some of those selections, please cancel them immediately so that they can be made available to Guests actually visiting the Theme Parks that day and so that you’ll be able to make your own selections when the time is right!
Be sure to read the “
FastPass+ - Frequently Asked Questions” page for even more tips and insight. If you do that, you should be good to go the moment your selection window opens!
As a final tip, if you find that your FastPass+ selection window doesn’t open at 7 am, Eastern Standard Time, 30 days before your arrival, please
contact Walt Disney World Resort for assistance. They’ll be happy to help.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
