    is there a fast pass or genie to be purchased also with the tickets?

    Hey there, Denise, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your questions! If you’re here asking questions about tickets, that can only mean one thing: a Walt Disney World Vacation is in your future! With the 50th Anniversary Celebration bringing new offerings to the Theme Parks, now is a fantastic time to visit! I’ve already been mapping out my next trip down to the Mouse’s house! 

    Denise, Disney’s Genie+ Service is the new replacement for the previous FastPass+ program. There is not currently an option to purchase the Disney Genie+ Service with your Theme Park Tickets. Instead, the service is available as a same-day Theme Park Ticket upgrade, which means that you will purchase the service for yourself and your vacation party each day you plan to use it during your visit. Genie+ is available on a first-come, first-served basis and only valid for the date of purchase. Therefore, a new purchase is required for each subsequent Theme Park day. You can begin purchasing the Genie+ upgrade beginning at 12:01 am EST each morning in the My Disney Experience mobile app. If you’re not much of a night owl, I suggest completing your purchase around 6 am EST so you have plenty of time to book your first Genie+ Lightning Lane when availability opens at 7 am EST. In my opinion Genie+ is the perfect upgrade to each of our Disney Vacations. With a family full of toddlers, a necessary goal of my Disney trips is to minimize attraction wait times, and Genie+ helps me to do just that!
