If we have a fast pass in animal kingdom but am spending the morning in Epcot how can I check to see if there are fast passes available in Epcot before cancelling the one in animal kingdom

Hi there Mary! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's great to see another Marylander here! I'd be happy to assist you today.

I absolutely love using FastPass+ in Walt Disney World. The ability to select and reserve our must-do attractions ahead of time brings peace of mind to our vacation planning. We can rest easy knowing we will be able to experience our favorite attractions without a wait. I also appreciate the flexibility of being able to modify our selections on-the-go. Fortunately, there is a simple way to check FastPass+ availability at one park, while maintaining your selections at another. I answered a similar question just the other day for another guest, so this is definitely a common question.

First, one you are logged in to the My Disney Experience app, click the + symbol to add a FastPass+ experience. Then choose your party members and the date on which you are looking to check availability, and select Epcot.

At this point, you will be warned that guests may only select FastPass+ experiences at 1 park per day, and that if you continue, your current FastPass+ selections will be canceled and replaced. Don't panic! Your current selections will only be lost if you choose, confirm, and finalize experiences at a different park. Nothing will be canceled by simply looking around. If you do you confirm and finalize an experience at Epcot, all existing FastPass+ selections at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park for that day will be canceled.

I hope that answers your question about FastPass+ planning, Mary. Some of my favorite attractions at Epcot that frequently have last minute FastPass+ availability are Living with the Land and Spaceship Earth. If you happen to be traveling this summer, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more information on when Remy's Ratatouille Adventure might be opening. I can't wait for this whimsical addition to my favorite Walt Disney World theme park!

    Wishing you magic and memories,
