How far is the Wilderness Lodge from Animal Kingdom?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melanie! We’re glad you stopped by with your question. It’s our pleasure to help you as you plan your magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Melanie, traveling throughout the Walt Disney World Resort can seem like a daunting task. With 18 Resort Hotels, 4 theme parks, two water parks, and Disney Springs, getting around can seem tricky. But, with the help of some wonderful planning tools, you can get a route and estimated travel time to your destination easily on the My Disney Experience site. I was able to quickly log in and search for Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, selected directions to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Parks and voila! It showed me that it would take approximately 39-minutes on the complimentary Disney Bus transportation. Fun, huh?!

If you were driving yourself, it would probably be more of a 20-minute drive. But why drive when you can be swept away in magical Disney transportation comfort without having to worry about how to get there!

If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App to your smart device before you arrive. This app is my best friend when I tour the parks. With interactive maps, park times, attraction wait times, and my entire vacation plans and reservations in one place, I can’t do the parks without it!

I hope you have a magical visit! Do come back and see us again soon. We’d love to help you as you plan your visit to the place where the magic is endless!
