How far walking is it to Epcot

    Hiya Pal,

Welcome to planDisney! Unlike at the Happiest Place on Earth in California, you cannot walk between all four parks (the exception is EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, which, along the walking path, takes between 20-30 minutes). This is why, as a mom of two under three, one of the most important things for me to consider is getting around Walt Disney World.

So, I’m not sure exactly where you are planning to travel to EPCOT, but I’m happy to help you prepare by sharing some travel time estimates. If you are asking about the time it will take from the EPCOT parking lot to International Gateway, I would estimate around 20-30 minutes (from the parking lot to the main gate shouldn’t take you longer than 10 minutes to walk). If you aren’t planning to park at EPCOT, you can also get to EPCOT on foot from either the EPCOT area resorts or Hollywood Studios. As I mentioned earlier, the walk from Hollywood Studios should take around 20-30 minutes from gate to gate. Getting to EPCOT from any of the EPCOT area resorts (and the Skyliner stop) should take less than 15 minutes, depending on your location. When I was visiting last month and staying at Beach Club resort, it only took me 8 minutes to get from the gate to my room, and that was pushing a double stroller! When I stay at the Swan Hotel, I can get to EPCOT in about 12-15 minutes, depending on my walking speed.

I hope this is what you were searching for; if not, please feel free to contact me again. You’ve got a friend in me here at planDisney, and as such, my goal is to make sure you have the most magical vacation possible. Oh, and one last thing: to make your walk more enjoyable, let me share a tip. Grab a snack! My Prince Charming and I love to grab a yummy snack from one of the outdoor kitchens during the festivals to split while we walk. It makes the walk go by quickly and always gives us something to chat about on our stroll.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
