How far of a walking distance is it from the ticket transportation to the wheelchair rental area

Hello Brian, welcome to planDisney. We are happy you stopped by for advice about your visit in April. I can help you locate the wheelchair rental location and get your day magical day started as soon as you arrive.

Visiting Walt Disney World is always a special time. Especially when loved ones can come along. Whether you can walk the whole park or need the aid of a wheelchair, Disney has programs in place to make ensure everyone has a magical experience. When visiting the Magic Kingdom Park your day will begin at the Ticket and Transportation Center from there you can take the monorail or ferry to the Magic Kingdom Park. But before you walk away from the Ticket and Transportation Center the wheelchair rental is actually located on the right-hand side of the entrance Wheelchair Rentals at Mickey's Gift Station. The rentals are first come first serve so make sure to beat the crowds. Rentals have options for single-day and length-of-stay rentals.

While you visit if anyone in your party isn't able to tolerate extended waits in conventional queues you can apply for what's called DAS or Disability Access Service. This service allows you to request a specific return time for attractions. You can pre-register to have a live video chat with a cast member up to 30 days before your park visit to apply to use the DAS system.

I hope this info is helpful for your visit. Please come back if you have any questions or any other planning needs.

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
