How far is the walk from Hollywood to the sky liner that goes to Epcot? Also, is there a way to see how long the line is for the Sky liner? Last, if dropped off on sky liner are you close to see the fire works in Epcot?

Hey there, Michael! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

The Disney Skyliner is one of my favorite modes of Disney Transportation! The Skyliner is the main reason my family loves staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort! Riding the Skyliner makes our travels from Pop Century to EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios a breeze.

The walk from the Disney Hollywood Studios Exit Gate to the Skyliner station takes just about as long as Dory’s memory: you’ll be there faster than you can say, “just keep swimming!” If it takes longer than three minutes, you’ve inadvertently walked right past the station while daydreaming of Mickey Bars! Fun Fact: it takes longer to walk to the resort hotel bus pickup than to the Skyliner station! Also, you will be able to gauge the Skyliner queue as you approach the station. If the queue looks full, don’t let it deter you. In my experience, the Skyliner queues move fairly quickly.

And since you’re taking the Skyliner from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to EPCOT, keep in mind that you’ll have to briefly exit your gondola at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort station to switch lines. After exiting, follow the signage to the EPCOT line to board your new gondola destined for EPCOT’s International Gateway. The International Gateway is at the back of the Theme Park, which can be an advantage for viewing the Harmonious nighttime spectacular! I recommend taking a quick walk through France after entering the park and viewing the show from Japan or Italy.

I hope this helps, Michael! If you have more questions while planning, stop back by and ask us. We’re here to help! The magic awaits!
