How far is the walk from the Garden Wing of the Contemporary to the Tower to get on mononorail. We would like to stay there on our trip because of the monorail with an 18 mo old. If it comes down to cost we may not be able to afford the tower. Thanks!

    Greetings, Brooke!

The walk from the Garden Wing at Disney's Contemporary Resort to the main building will take you around five minutes.  The walkway is covered as well.  It is not enclosed, however, so if it's rainy and windy, you may get a little wet.

We have stayed in the Garden Wing before and find the rooms to be just as fabulous as those in the Tower.  The only real differences we have found are the views and balconies tend to be more preferable in the Tower.  But, you're closer to the pool area and marina, which is a plus for us as we tend to spend a lot of time at the pool.  We've also noticed the Garden Wing rooms tend to be in a quieter area than those in the Tower.  For us, the savings of the Garden Wing is worth the "sacrifice" of the view.

I hope this answers your questions about Disney's Contemporary Resort!  Please come back and see me again if you have any other planning questions.  I'd love to help you in any way I can!

    Best Wishes,
    Ashley
