how far is it to walk to the big pool when staying at cabanas at coronado springs

Hi Leslie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I bet you are thrilled to spend some time at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort beginning tomorrow! This Disney Resort hotel holds a lot of special memories for me, especially when it comes to walking around Lago Dorado during a sunset. It is absolutely gorgeous!

You will be happy to know that the Cabanas area of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is very close to The Lost City of Cibola Pool at the Dig Site. If you go to the link I just included and click on the map, you can zoom in to see the exact location of the pool. The red-roofed buildings to the right of the pool are the Cabanas buildings. Depending on the pace that your party walks, you should be able to reach the pool in only five minutes or so! How convenient is that?!

I hope you have plans to dine at Maya Grill during your stay! My husband and I really enjoy the food there, as well as the live music in the evening. And bonus, it is usually easy to get a last-minute dining reservation there!

Enjoy your visit, Leslie! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
