how far out from my travel date can I begin to book dining reservations

    Hi Jo! Welcome to planDisney!

You must be thrilled to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in October! All of the fall decorations are dreamy, but the Mickey-shaped pumpkins are definitely my favorite. There is just something special about walking down Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park when it is lined with the fall decor. I know you'll love it!

Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. For Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can make reservations 60 days from your check-in date and all the days after, up to 10 days. For Guests not staying on Walt Disney World Resort property, you will need to make each reservation on separate days to stick to 60 days out for each day.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, I recommend making your most sought-after and popular reservations first. For example, a restaurant like California Grill fills up quickly so you would want to reserve that first before moving on to the easier to get reservations.

I hope this helps, Jo! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
