As far as the stroller rentals go at the parks, can this be reserved ahead of time or do you just rent one when you get to the park? Also, are they sanitized before they are rented?

Hello Leah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My family has been a solid supporter of the double stroller for every visit to a Walt Disney World Theme Park. We all agree that there would be too many tired legs and potential meltdowns to risk traveling through the Theme Parks without them.

Strollers rented at a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park or Disney Springs must be rented in-person on the date fo your visit and cannot be reserved in advance. There are so many strollers available that you should not have any problem obtaining one when you visit.

While the strollers are cleaned on a daily basis, there is no way to be sure that the one you receive has been thoroughly sanitized to your own expectations before you pick it up. I recommend that you bring some sanitizing wipes for your visit and wipe it down before the little ones hop in. These wipes are also useful during any strollers mishaps during the day.

If you are planning for a longer visit, you can pay for multiple days of stroller use on your first visit to speed up the process to other Theme Parks and Disney Springs on following days. In addition, you may consider renting a stroller from a Featured Disney Provider which grants you access to wheels outside of the Theme Parks or Disney Springs (which need to be returned upon exiting).

    Have a Magical Visit!
